The difference and application of nylon, carbon and PE wires?

1. Different raw materials:

Nylon yarn is made of nylon yarn twisted together; PE yarn is made of poly-stranded chemical fibers woven with dipping gum; carbon yarn is made of resin with fluorine and carbon components.

2. Different characteristics:

Nylon yarn: with a certain tensile force, strong tensile force, luster, high temperature resistance, low cost, smooth surface, the wear of the ring can be minimized.

PE line: thinner diameter, farther throwing, wear resistance, almost no ductility

Carbon Wire: High specific gravity, fast water cut, very low refractive index of light can hardly be seen, no water absorption, UV resistance and durability are much stronger than nylon wire.

3. There are differences in attributes:

Through nylon line fishing, the reaction will be relatively slow, the overall operation will be more stable, at the same time, it can reach an agreement with the proportion of water; thunder strong people are generally PE line-based, for the strong fisherman is usually 80-100 pounds; PE is completely incomparable with water, is completely floating water.

The proportion of fluorocarbon line and water is about 1:1.7, so the sinking rate is faster than nylon, especially in the bottom fishing group, such as Texas fishing group, lead hook with silica gel, upside-down fishing with any Finesse fishing group, the sinking rate is significantly faster.

4. There are differences in ductility:

Carbon wire has a little function of PE line, high wear resistance and low ductility; nylon line has an advantage of ductility, although it is difficult to find the intersection point in operation, but the signal will be more stable. The ductility of PE wires is the same as that of carbon wires, both of which have low ductility.


5. There are differences on the stock line:

The chemical raw material of nylon is PA. Like PE, it is a downstream product of petroleum. Unlike PE, nylon yarn is generally single-stranded, which is just the opposite of PE yarn. PE is a fishing line made of multi-stranded chemical fibers woven and dipped in glue, while carbon thread is made of resin with fluorine and carbon components, without single strand or multi-strand.

How to choose the right line for fishing:

The type of line to be used in fishing is generally determined by the fishing waters and the target fish. In the river, river, lake and reservoir waters, the diameter of the line should be rougher, and in the fish pond or single intensive crucian carp waters, line 1 is better.

In the wild small crucian carp waters, the line 0.8-1.2 is suitable; in the fishing waters, the thinner the line, the better; in the static waters, the thinner the line, and in the dynamic waters, the thinner the line.

In short, big fish use thick line, small fish use thin line. Reasonable use of line is an indispensable link in fishing. In order to increase the catch rate, experienced fishermen often choose the lower limit, that is, the hook line is small and close.
